American Art Deco Mahogany Bootlegger's Desk with Hidden Bar USAca 1930's This American art deco mahogany desk with a hidden bar compartment was custom built for a Midwestern bootlegger and speakeasy owner during Prohibition. The desk, which has been completely restored in high gloss lacquer has a two level top with scalloped columns on each end. The left hand column opens to reveal a bar, the right center pulls out for access to a filing cabinet with glass fronts and a pullout cash drawer. Measuring 92” across, 42” deep and 31” high, this desk made a statement in the 1930’s and will do so again today!
